Nick's first thought when he saw this picture (above) is that it reminded him of one of his friends from IU / Chicago... I'll leave it anonymous and see if anyone else thinks it looks like this person :)
Caleb is doing great! he has been teething lately; which is making him increasingly clinging to me :) (I'm still new enough at this mom thing that it makes me happy). yesterday my Mom was planning on watching Caleb while I went to pick up Nick's fathers day gift.... All three of us went to the shop as Caleb would have nothing of me leaving... he seems to have a sixth sense; if I'm in the house; he is fine but if I plan on leaving he screams (unless it's Nick he's with then he's fine).
For Fathers day / 30th birthday (upcoming) we got Nick a new bike! He got it early; after lugging it home from the bicycle shop; the last thing I wanted to do was take it to the basement for hiding so... since I get all my gifts early (at my request) I decided Nick could also. He seemed to love it.... I'm just hoping its not another guitar purchase..... When we were first married (almost 6 yrs ago!!!) I got Nick a guitar as he had talked about wanting to learn to play since I meet him in college; my Mom got him gift certificates for lessons and..... neither have ever been used! Actually when we went to get the bike my Mom & I discussed this and she said at least take the gift certificate in their and buy something! :)

Just wanted to let you know I am reading your blog! Caleb is a cutie!
We are in Kansas now, it was a bit of a traumatic trip out here, but I'll tell you about that later - the good news is, everyone is ok!
And ... I laughed hysterically when reading about the guitar purchase. I bought Wade one (and the lessons) for his birthday years ago b/c of the same reason, he had talked and talked about learning to play ... yet it sits in the closet and gathers dust!
I am up to my eyeballs in boxes, so gotta run. Just wanted to say hi!
Hallie
