HATE HATE ALLERGIES

I just have to vent and say that I hate allergies! I've never really had them, the occasional headache, head cold or ear ache is the worse it gets for me as for as allergies being the culprit. but.... my poor Caleb takes after his Daddy and has awful!!! seasonal allergies. They are trying to figure out if he's just really allergic to something seasonal or if maybe it his sinuses having issues. He got out his adenoids, which were huge and gross so they thought this allergy season would be better but.... it all started even earlier! The poor kid is on: Zyrtec, D-allergy & Benedryll (alternating these two), Singular, Atrovent, Xopenix and they increased his prevacid to 60mg daily (4X the adult dose), and now orapred (steroid) for five days all to get him though this bad "allergy period". If the cough doesn't go away Friday we are getting x-rays of the sinuses you can see in x-ray and starting there. Mon we have a consult w/ the allergist we saw about 1 1/2 yrs ago (he found nothing then, but said Caleb was young for anything to show up) so hopefully he has ideas...he won't be tested for AT LEAST a week from monday b/c you have to be off anti-histimine for 7 days prior and right now Caleb's are keeping him from going into a astma attack (or so we hope/ think)

After having a teething 5 month old and a non-stop coughing 2 1/2 yr old (litterly no more than a 1 min break for 13 hours straight) I'm so over allergies! Caleb and Erica are wonderful though and seem to sense when the other needs mommy... I've only had a few times where both kids are truly cry crying for my attention the last few days.. One wining while the other needs me is more typical but that I can deal with it the double crying that kills me b/c I just want them to feel better. I have to say though... Its my five month old little girl whose the biggest tropper I know, at Caleb's Dr. Apts she sits in the stoller and she seems to know that during his breathing treatments he likes mommy to help hold, even if he doesn't need it and usually is Ok w/ watching from the exersaucer, provided she gets lots of smiles and waves :)
