We made our first, of a predicted many, trips to a pumpkin patch today. We went to Stoney Creek this time - one we hit every year, and the one that Caleb's pre-school has a field trip to in a couple of weeks - we wanted him to be somewhat familiar w/ it b/f the field trip.
We only had an hour, but thought since no one was there - we'd be able to hit everything - we were wrong. Our little boy - who was scared of the "jump - pillow" last year - wouldn't leave it! It lost power for about 5 min and that was the only time during the hour we left it. Our little girl is going through a MAJOR big brother phase and her and I couldn't just be watching Daddy and Caleb but had to be watching from inside rather than outside the surrounding fence.
My heart melting proud mom moment of the day came when a little girl started crying - Caleb yelled "Mommy - little girl crying" I told him it was ok, she was just a little scared of the bouncing, he immediately yelled "EVERYONE STOP JUMPING" and popped down on his bottom --- of course none of the other kids listens to Caleb but its the thought that counts right ?
