Cheese!!

Caleb has recently begun saying "cheese" on request for the camera....Now if I could only get him to actually hold the smile until I got the pic and to take food out of his mouth as he says it he'd be great!

In case you wondered... you are seeing correctly, my stubborn son is out in 10 degree weather and took the gloves off and threw a fit when we tried to put them back...which resulted in less than 5 minutes in the snow (I had no gloves on and when my hands got too cold I said time to come in). This resulted in an all out terrible two fit tantrum for Caleb and a headache for me!

Overall, our week has been pretty low key, with our library / McD happy meal on Monday and quick trip outside to see the snow tonight being the highlights this week. Caleb did do really good getting dropped off at school after a two week break, he took his teachers hand, hugged me good-bye and went to color :). He was a little upset when I picked him up...but not until he saw me, it was the delayed I miss mommy reaction.

Other than that we've had an uneventful week as Nick and I have been spending every waking moment (and its been a lot with very limited sleep) working on the basement. Nick is the manual labor lead and I'm the decision, errands, planing lead... I've been at THD and Menard's 4 times already this week!!!
