First Steps

We started out the New Year perfectly today with Caleb taking his first multiple steps. All in all he ended up taking 6 steps one-time and 3 and 4 steps multiple times. Nick and I are both super excited that Caleb did this on his own!!

This was extra important to us b/c his Physical Therapist is about 90% sure she wants him in ankle braces (I forget the official name..SLA something??) within the next month or so. His doctor agrees that he needs them and no matter how many times how many people tell you that the braces are just for him to get his ankles stronger and less flexible, that he will be / would be able to walk on his own and no matter how much you have learned and know exactly what they are talking about on some level I think we would have always wondered, could he have done it on his own and now we know :)....he can and by the time we actually end up / if we end up getting them he will be doing just fine and they will only help!!
