Bananas!!!!

Caleb had banana's today and LOVED them. he loved them so much that 1. he ate the whole jar at lunch (I thought we would have to work at this) 2. would suck his thumb to help it down, just to be sure he didn't lose any between bites and 3. Fell asleep while eating but...would wake up once he was done with that bite and yell for more. It worked out that we got to give him his first jar of bananas during Nick's lunch hour so it was a family affair :). Rice Cereal is now being retired...he never really did get all that into it; at least no where close to the bananas.

Over the next few days Nick & I are prepping ourselves mentally to move Caleb's crib out of the sitting area in our room back into his nursery!!! This is great news, but still makes us nervous. We are getting one of the monitors taken away (the pulse oximeter) at the end of July and will only be left w/ the apnea monitor so... I want to move him b/f we lose the monitor (so we can see any sleeping changes). We are actually super excited (and nervous) about losing the pulse-ox b/c they wouldn't take it back if he wasn't ready. One down one to go! Best guess by his doctor is that the apnea will be gone when he is 9-12 months, provided we can pass a sleep study and the pulmonology specialist agrees that we are ready.
