We had a family Reunion (my mom's family) in Angola a few weeks ago (Early / Mid July). We just went up for the day but the kids had enough fun that we hope to go up to pokagan state park for a few days next summer. They LOVED the beach and we only spent a couple of hours their. we have beach lovers :)....very exciting for me who LOVED ocean / beach vacations growing up. Erica LOVED the beach / sand / sun and was a natural sitting on the edge of the water building / dumping sand. Caleb who typically can't stop playing in sand was more of a water lover so we took turns with the kids.
@ my grandma's house my Uncle Jim got out the tractor for the boys to ride. Caleb was so nervous but wanted to take a ride so bad and....after watching Michael and going on and on and on about how brave he was he did it!!! He was so proud of himself and had so much fun... I have heard more than a few times that we need to go back to my grandmas house so he can take another tractor ride....this time he wants to ride the old red one in the barn that mommy did when she was little (he doesn't seem to accept that its so old it can't be fixed...he's a tad stubborn & thinks someone should be able to fix it)
