Penguin Caleb

We made a trip to the Children's Museum over Christmas break....It was sooo crowed but Caleb still had a blast and Erica seemed content to people watch. Its nice b/c we got a season pass so while we've (well, me Erica & Caleb) have been there twice, we still have about 1/2 of the museum to see and haven't even made it past floor 3. We just go for 2-3 hours then call it a day when the kiddos get tired. Nick made his first ever trip there, which is surprising to me since he grew up in Indiana. I only lived in Ft Wayne until 3rd grade but we had field trips to the Children's museum!

Caleb LOVES this place. Although he says his FAVORITE spot in the trains....he's actually not much fun to watch in this section, he is sooo into it that he just looks and studies the different trains. This time though... He discovered the Penguin / Polar bear area. This was a seasonal exhibit set up and it was great. Caleb was really cute in it and became a penguin for about 30 mins going down, down and down again the penguin slide. He actually did really really well. He is typically on the shy side, but man when he saw that slide watch out and let him through. He came to "tattle" on other kids a few times saying "mommy I got pushed" and "mommy they aren't waiting in line" I had to tell him that if he was good enough to come tell me about it he was just fine :). some pics of Penguin Caleb are below
