3 Months Old.

Our baby girl turned 3 months old this week!. We got her 3 month photos taken today, a few of my favs are above. Nick had asked me if we should do cake or anything mid-week, on her actual b-day, more for caleb than her. My response was, its not an actual b-day, but a milestone, so no. Well today, we told Caleb we had to get pics taken and say cheese b/c Erica turned 3 months old..... his response was "we need cake"! so during his nap I made cupcakes :).

Edit: Notice I said during his NAP!! the stop light is working :). we have quiet time every day from about 1-2, the red light goes on, a movie goes in, and he stays in bed for one hour, and yes he actually stays in bed! well..... we are up to him falling asleep about 2 days out of 5 in a week, not bad!!! it takes him the full hour, and both times he's fallen asleep w/i 5 min of when I would have let him out of bed but he still falls asleep and takes about a 1.5 hour nap!!! We've also transitioned to me putting him down at night, I stay in the room for 5 min, then mommy has to get stuff done so she leaves the door open and leaves :) (I'm sure I've told most of you, Nick was having to spend an hour plus in there a night, we finally realized its why he wanted daddy to put him down, he could get away w/ more and it got better quickly when daddy wouldn't stay in the room - then he was grateful for my 5 min and door open deal :) ). He's taken about one hour to fall asleep some nights but.... I only have to go in there 2-3 times in that hour so not so bad....making huge strides on the sleep front in our house!! Well kind-of... Erica stopped sleeping through the night, they say we were lucky that she did at all this young, that it will probably be a while till she does again (Yes, I actually called the DR over the fact she want from sleeping 8 hours a night to about 5, you are supposed to call for big changes and trust me, its a big change :) )
