Official Trial :)

I'm happy to report that the procedure that helped Caleb immensely, and ultimately, along with wonderful doctors and therapist, helped him to overcome all of his issues caused by low tone (hypotonic CP) is now in the official trial stage. Hopefully one day, it will be common procedure to help kiddos that are deprived of oxygen at birth in this way, although I know realistically it will take the span of Caleb's lifetime to be completely trusted, as he was only # 80 something to ever get this done. (Many more have received stem cells (i.e. sibling), he was just #80 something to actually get his own put back in him, which essentially since its your own blood, takes all the risk away and to have it given to him for the purpose of healing a brain injury)

Caleb's procedure was done in Feb of 2009, in the pre-trial stage. He was considered a elective procedure, as they were doing the procedure for parents who sought them out and met certain criteria so they could learn more in prep for hopefully being able to do this this..the official trail.
