The Count Down

We offically have 10 weeks or less until our baby girl is here and tons and tons of stuff to do!. Her offical c-section date will be May 3rd, unless I show signs of labor before then we will push it up.

We now have the bed/crib situation resolved, with Caleb getting a new bunk bed and us converting the full bed back to the crib.

I went through over 8 boxes of Caleb's cloths to only have just over one of stuff I think I can re-use, I did not do so hot on our buy neutral goal the first time around. Admittedly as they get older you can't, but I'm talking onesies are in blue! Oh well, at least the baby girl will gets lots of cute girlie things.

We have begun the long, exhausting process of combining the guest bedroom and office into one room, which actually involves lots of purging of things we should have tossed out years ago, so its not a bad thing, just not an opportune time to be sorting through junk, but it needs to be done so we have an empty room for our baby girls nursery.

Still on my t0-do list is buying the gear (i.e. monitors, baby bjourn), figuring out which double stroller to get (I'm taking suggestions so if you have one, please give it) and having Nick and my Dad get a fence up in the backyard so that I don't have to attempt to chase after a two year old while watching an infant. The fence is a big one for me, b/c whenever Caleb is outside he makes a beeline for the sidewalk then down to the creek that's about 7 houses down, so it makes me nervous to not have a fence, not just b/c of the road, but the water.

Hopefully we are onto the fun stuff soon, that is setting up & decorating the nursery once its painted. I've already bought a few things and decided on my subtle theme, but its turning out harder than I thought to find things, I'm hoping/thinking once it painted, furniture put back together, and partially decorated it will be much much easier to figure out what finishing touches I need.
