Relaxing!

We finished the floors! yippee. The upstairs hallways (painting) are still on the agenda for this week & weekend then my hubby and I have decided to take a break for a little while on the home improvement front and put the basement on hold....well, potentially not on hold (cross my fingers), we will have a contractor come out and quote doing the framing, but unless he is really affordable its on hold.... stay tuned.

Some pics of our finished product(s) are below, I forgot to take before pics, so a pic I have of one room at Christmas will have to do. Its hard to tell the new paint color, its a really light tan, called Cashmere....funny story on the color.... I went in and bought 15 gallons of it, thinking it was the color I borrowed from my mom and put on a little area of my wall to look @ the color....ends up she gave me a Sherman Williams "cashmere" line of the color Kilian beige, I thought cashmere was the color and it was behr.... actually there is a cashmere color in behr paint and we ended up buying 15 gallons of it and.... LOVING it... luckily, as it was kind-of a huge $300 mistake on my part :)
