Busy July!!

We've had a crazy busy July and the busiest is yet to come :). Its been fun, but a lot going on. Caleb is in four classes, so one each day plus story time at the library so that makes five!. This was not by design, one of the classes is a makep-up from early this spring when I had to opt out of the last part of Kindermusik b/c he kept getting colds etc.. so that we had to keep delaying the Cincy procedures. They were nice enough to let me transfer my remaining sessions to the shorter summer one so he get s a full class.

The 2nd unplanned one is b/c I disliked swim lessons as monon so much I went to stoney creek. I had already paid for a 2nd session there so we had to transfer the credit. We ended up picking a mommy & me tumble class, this is by far the BEST unplanned class ever. We've only had one session so far but Caleb loved it.

So we have Storytime & KiderMusik Mondays, Gym Tuesdays, Soccer Wednesdays, and Swim on Thursdays. Couple this with the follow-up apts we still have ( avg about 1 a week, it should slow by the end of the summer, its just our busy couple of months on that end) then the therapy (avg about two a week on this) and I can't move at night!! BUT... we have decided to do major home improvment so I am.

Home improvement wise - we got our entire downstairs painted this weekend, the painter came Mon & Tues to do the two story entry. We still have the upstairs hallways, which I hope will be done over the next couple of weeks in the evenings. We (Ok really my dad) is pulling up the carpet tomorrow then Nick and his dad will be hard hard at work!.

Nick and his dad are signing up for the vast majority of my home improvement plans (Thanks in advance Ken). This weekend they are laying wood (laminate) in the living / dining / family room areas on the main level (no more carpet on main level, just ceramic tile in the entry & kitchen then the wood -- Yeah) and starting to frame the basement. We will then hang the drywall ourselves and have someone come finish it. I will have an electrician out sometime b/f then and maybe a plumber...although I think the full bath downstairs will be an empty room for some time as budget wise its on the back burner. They will then lay the same laminate as we are upstairs and.... we will have an almost entirely updated house -- Yippie

Oh... a small small portion of the downstairs is one of my pet projects, I'm excited about. I bought 4 old bar booths at a garage sale I am in process of de-stenching the smoke smell then plan on re-upolstrying them and they will be in the new finished basement, I'm excited -- hopefully they turn out.
