What a Day!!!

What a day! Caleb fell and got hurt with lots of blood not once, but twice within a four hour period. The hardest part for me is there are plenty of times throughout a day I am within eyesight, but not within reach of Caleb....both times he fell I was less than a foot away and he still got hurt!!

He first fell by doing a pseduo faceplant into the sidewalk after lunch...he did catch himslef but his face still went down and he got a fat bloody upper lip.

Fast forward to 5ish and the crazy kiddo wouldn't stop spinning...got so dizy but was having a blast. In his attempts to run run run he decided it was time to go upstairs and misjudged where the steps were and did a faceplant into the bottom two steps...this time biting the bottom lip, much worse the the upper lip was. Injury #1....was healed pretty quickly with strawberry Popsicles

Injury #2 (lower lip)...this one wasn't healed so quickly....still slight bleeding at bedtime and scared to death of going anywhere near the site of accident....I put him down there once, he cried hysterically. When it was time for bath, he walked all the way the crawled he last three or four feet to get to the steps....didn't want to misjudge again I guess :(
