Such a Little Boy!

Caleb is becoming such a little boy! He has this plastic hat we picked up for him this summer at a festival; I thought it would be forever until he played with it but he loves it already! Every time he plays w/ it or we put it on him I think he looks like such a boy!

Not much exciting has been going on. Nick & I left Caleb w/ my mom for eight hours on Saturday to go to our friends Justin & Kim's wedding (leaving Caleb for this long was a HUGE deal; we have never done it). It was a lot of fun to catch up with some old friends; Justin & Kim looked so happy & Kim was beautiful. They had some really cute ideas at the reception that I had never seen before & loved (i.e. a candy bar & flip flops for the ladies to change into in the bathroom). Caleb did fine....until bedtime then he missed his mommy. Nick & I ended up getting home about mid-night & Caleb was sound a sleep.

Other than that we have just been trying to keep/get Caleb's reflux & swallowing issue's under control which has meant lots of dr. apts, therapy sessions etc... but Caleb is a pro at them by now so it makes it all very manageable. He recognizes everyone at his pediatricians office, they get some great smiles & he even seems to remember some of the specialist?? Which I don't think is possible but he is at least not scared of them and willing to let them poke & prod at him.
