The big boy room is 95% of the way done, with just the new blind to hang and the toy chest to finish decorating :). Caleb has done fairly well, he actually gets more points than Nick, who has become quite the pushover in the getting Caleb to bed department. I haven't put Caleb to bed since September b/c....we had PERFECTED the art of rountine then just lying him down and letting him go to sleep well, one night, Caleb wanted one of us in there....Nick decided he didn't mind staying and he hated hearing Caleb upset. Well....for the last month Nick has been lying on the floor next to Caleb's crib anywhere for 10 to 45 min, until he falls alsleep...... Nick said when he went to the big boy bed he would NOT lay in bed with him, b/c it will be so hard to break that habit well...... last night, his second night, Nick caved and crawled into bed with Caleb. It's pretty cute....but its going to be an impossible habit to break, although its one I don't think Nick wants to give up anytime soon as its his and Caleb's time each day, and by the time he gets home from work they only have a couple of hours, if that each evening.
We also made it to Zoo Boo!!! Caleb (and I) slept a little longer at nap time than planned, so we got a late start, but we still got 2 hours in, it just also made for us being one of the last 10 cars in the zoo parking lot when we left, 20 minutes after it ended (we managed to get one of the last train rides :) ). Caleb had soooo much fun though, and was on such a sugar / slap happy / had a fun day high last night that we thought he'd never get to bed well..... at 9:48 he finally zonked out, only to wake up 8 hours later and take no nap today!!! I'm exhausted, I don't know how he does it!!! Some pics of Zoo Boo are above. (big boy bed pics are forthcoming, I just need to bring the camera upstairs and actually take some! )
